There’s a man, with a gang of cohorts, who is torturing children serially, and en masse, seeing to it that they do not develop cognitively, and that most will be irreparably traumatized for life. Some of those children have died, countless have been sexually as well as physically assaulted, all have been kidnapped. They are placed in cages with hundreds of other crying, terrified, hurting children, sleep deprivation forced on infants and toddlers made to sleep on cement floors, lights on 24/7; no soap and water for weeks and left in filthy clothes, epidemics breaking out.
The intensity of the charge within me to have this man and his gang arrested, prosecuted for the torture, kidnapping, traumatization, molestation and in some cases death of children, runs as deep as it is primal. I’m not alone, Lightsforliberty.org, calling all of us to the streets on July 12, to end the atrocity.
So something not good happens to my central nervous system, i.e. my sense of stability, safety, sanity, when the people who I have elected believing they share that primal sense of adult as guardian of the child, are ‘hesitant’ to impeach. What?? Where is the American Bar Association immediately disbarring Barr and Sarah Fabian, and any other DOJ lawyer arguing that the conditions do not violate the law that the U.S. must keep children in their custody isafe and sanitary, because it doesn’t explicitly state that sanitary means keeping them clean!!! And where are the people I elected doing every thing they can to arrest, as in put them in jail, but also arrest as in stop the atrocity?? That they are ‘hesitant’ to impeach creates a dissonance within me in terms of considering those very people ‘sane’. I feel I’m living in a surreal, nightmarish, Twilight Zone.
So thank you Jim Himes, my representative for shifting your position to be for impeachment. I needed that alignment with sanity from you. Thank you to all the representatives standing for impeachment.
Pelosi basing her ‘hesitancy’ on being ‘political’, makes her operating from the same dysfunction as the Republicans. It is imperative that the democratic legislators behave cohesively, and so many who in their hearts want impeachment, and I hope imprisonment, for the atrocities sourced in the extreme sadism and racism of the Trump regime, are not voicing their better instinct to impeach, because of a value on cohesiveness. I want the democrats to have a value on cohesiveness, but not when the cohesiveness asks of each of them to abandon their morality/ethics/duty.
Rather, stand each of you in what you know to be right action, and help Pelosi make the better choice. Not only would there be a surge in empowerment for the democratic legislators, and for the hundreds of thousands of people stepping up from the grassroots to end the atrocity, it would also give greater belief that the American Way is still alive in America to all the children suffering, their families, their countrymen, and all the government leaders both allies and non-allies, who have called out President Trump and what’s going on in the White House as of a mentally disturbed mindset.
Nancy: the majority of people saw through the fraudulency of trying to undo Clinton because of an affair, a) that belonged in the privacy of his family relationships, b) where the outraged, condemning men, were the ones ‘raping’ ( against her will, violating the boundaries of)the woman involved, and c) when so many of those men were exposed as also having affairs. That’s why that impeachment ‘backfired’ (your concern) on the republicans. Trust me Nancy, the majority of Americans aren’t feeling it’s ‘fraudulent’ to be doing whatever you can to get the babies into safety. Indeed, we’re feeling it’s ‘fraudulent’ of you not to. In making the wrong decision, you force the value on cohesion to become one that supports the same pathological, cultish, groupthink going on in the GOP.
Listen to those freshman grassroots-connected legislators. They are expressing the heart and soul of the sane American, and you will see a rise in your popularity, in the cohesiveness of the democratic legislators, and in the empowerment of the good-hearted at home and abroad. That it might not succeed in removing Trump, is not a reason for you to behave complicitly in the atrocity.
